Temperate Forests

Today we went on a special field trip. Mrs. Cypher's class has been learning about temperate forests. The forests we have around our school are temperate forests. Mrs. Cypher's class made a forest outside their classroom. Matthew, a student of Mrs. Cypher's, took us on a tour of their forest and told us facts about temperate forests. He did a fantastic job and we had a wonderful time!!

Today was Book Character Day in our classroom. We earned 40 class compliments so we could dress up like a character from a book or children’s song. We had a great time and wanted to share all of the characters with you! We hope you enjoy seeing them.: )

A class full of characters!!!

 

Wow! What a fun and exciting day! Today the Wendell Fire Department came to visit us at our school. We had a wonderful time learning about fire safety with the firemen and Pluggie. We laughed at Mrs. Trotto dressing up like a firefighter and even got to climb through the fire truck. Then we went back to our room with Mrs. Trotto's class and made edible fire trucks! They tasted terrific. We had a fantastic time!

Today was Super Kids Day at school. We had a wonderful time!! Thanks to Mrs. Farris and all of the other teachers and parents who worked hard. We LOVED it!: )

 

Center Time
